With regards to the new applications for Red Light and Siren Permits, it seems there is some confusion as to how the form should be completed. These Red Light & Siren permits are for the use of the Fire Department Chief and Deputy Chief only and are to be used in their private vehicles. As well, if a Chief is applying for a permit then a representative from the town must authorize this use.
As for the Fireworks permits FES-NL is receiving quite a number of these applications where the inspection report is not enclosed. In order to process these applications in a timely manner all documentation must be included.
