June 6th, 2011 Federal Firefighter Tax Credit Reintroduced

Finance Minister Jim Flaherty reintroduced a $3,000 tax credit for volunteer firefighters in this afternoon's federal budget in Ottawa. This was the same tax credit that was defeated when the government fell and forced an election. Now, along with the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Tax Credit, volunteer firefighters have extra to be happy about.
