I would like to also pass on a "Pat on the Back" to the members of the Garnish Fire Dept for a job well done. From what I hear, the firefighters who responded did a great job by preventing the fire from spreading to neighboring property.
I also think the Marystown Fire Dept deserves a "Pat on the Back" for their efforts this morning at the Kiewitt Offshore Fabrication Facility in Marystown! A fire broke out in a trailer unit atop the 100 foot "Stair Tower" at the fabrication site and proved to be a bit of a task to extinguish simply because of the height of the fire. The stair tower was used during the fabrication and commissioning of the "Sea Rose" project and was being retrofitted for an upcoming project. Hats off to Chief Coady and the members of the Marystown Fire Dept for a job well done!
