This can be evidenced in both the release of our electronic fire news, our increased presence on social media, our email subscription list, and our new website. Further to that, we want to give our president, regional directors, and staff, a place to bring the most current news directly to our members. In the past, there were some efforts to create regional pages for each director to be able to post any news or events for their regions, but we feel that this will be a more effective and collaborative approach. Posts will be categorized with keywords, and will be published chronologically, so the information will readily available to anyone visiting the page. It will also ensure that the most current information is constantly flowing to our membership, supporters, partners, and public.
We look forward to this new endeavor, and what it will provide to our membership. While this new section of our site is going live this month, you should expect to begin seeing a more steady flow of information in coming months.
