Allan W. Goulding | 1940 - 1995

This award was established to honor the memory of Allan W. (Al) Goulding who until his death, was a charter member of the Association and served as secretary/ treasuer from 1967 to 1981. In 1982, Allan was appointed Executive Director, a position he held until his death in 1995.
The Allan W. Goulding Memorial Medal of Bravery is to accord recognition to a firefighter who performed an act of bravery. The award is sponsored by Newfoundland Power Co. Ltd. and Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Fire Services, and consists of an inscribed medal, lapel pin and citation.
